This company is a well recognised iconic market leader in the corporate Australian space.  An opportunity exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join this dynamic team.  Located next to a major train station in western Sydney this role will see you working within a fun, fast paced environment where you will be able to utilise your current experience as a Payroll Officer.  This organisation is a supplier of high quality products and services with one of the strongest supplier brands in its field. 


The Job

Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, this Payroll Officer will work within a medium size payroll team. This is a full function role where the Payroll Officer will be responsible end to end processing in a team environment. The Payroll Officer will gain exposure to a complex and large payroll environment where their responsibilities will include processing fortnightly and monthly payroll, workers compensation, redundancy payments, superannuation and the general maintenance of payroll records. This Payroll Officer will also be responsible for interpreting several awards and EBA and ensuring that the benefits paid are in line with the relevant awards. Your communication skills must be one of your key strengths as you will be required to assist internal and external customers with payroll related queries. This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Officer to work in an environment that is rare to find.


Candidate Profile

You are currently a Payroll Officer with sound experience in the main aspects of processing payroll. Previous experience with Chris 21 is highly desirable as is a solid working knowledge of Excel. You thrive in a busy environment and consider yourself a strong team player and have the ability to work diligently & autonomously.
